VIDEODANCE, 2006
Calcinatio – Experiment #1 is a video dance study, in which I experiment with the interpolation of two movement-based narratives. The video evokes melancholy, and the actions are in constant suspension, as if they were absent of any definitive meaning; as if the performer’s state was about to shift at any given moment. This work was loosely influenced by the book The Visible and the Invisible, written by Merleau-Ponty.
