VIDEO-INSTALLATION , 2020–2019

Salar is a non-scripted journey filmed in the Atacama Desert/Chile and in the Salar de Uyuni/Bolivia, in 2019. The experience of the landscape evokes a reflection upon existence and death through the silent meditation of two siblings on the passing of their brother who was murdered two decades ago.

Salar was conceived to be a 3-video channel immersive experience. It will be guided by the color palette, textures, and sounds of the landscape it traverses.

Salar is one of the seven installations that will be part of the work-in-progress The Quest for Joy, which proposes a meditation upon death.
